Al-Mamoura for Laboratory Supplies and Medical Equipment Trade Ltd. is a Baghdad-based Iraqi company serving laboratories, hospitals, universities, and research institutions.
Where we come from
Al-Mamoura grows out of the Dhelal Al-Zaitoon Group, a family trading house with a long history of commerce in Iraq. That heritage taught us the things no certificate can: the value of a kept promise, the weight of a good name, and the patience it takes to build relationships that last.
Today, Al-Mamoura carries that inheritance into a specialised field. We are a dedicated trading company for laboratory supplies and medical equipment, combining established relationships and local knowledge with a modern, quality-first way of working.
What we believe
Laboratories and healthcare providers depend on their suppliers in a way few other customers do. A late delivery is not an inconvenience; it can interrupt diagnosis and care. We therefore treat supply as a responsibility, not a transaction, and we choose the manufacturers we represent with the same seriousness our customers apply when choosing us.
A city that has always traded in knowledge
Baghdad was once home to Bayt al-Hikma, the House of Wisdom, where scholars from across the known world gathered to translate, study, and advance science thirteen centuries before laboratory medicine existed as a field. We do not claim a direct line to that history, only that supplying the instruments of modern science, in this particular city, feels less like an accident and more like a continuation of something Baghdad has done for a very long time.
